My Artist Story

As an artist and designer based out of Portland OR, I create colorfully vivid paintings with earthy subject matter using acrylic, watercolor, and colored pencil. 

My work is ever changing as my influences continually evolve, though there are some consistent themes throughout my pieces. I am often inspired by very small or even microscopic parts of nature. I love adjusting scale and perspectives to portray an object in a new way or create a scene inside an object.

In my ongoing series “Grounded” I often utilize symbols, such as kites to represent freedom and connection, or minerals as a symbol for steadfastness and conviction. Each piece evokes its own sense of adventure and empowerment that allows for the viewer to create their own interpretation and connection to the work.
